JAWICO TOOLING was established on June 1, 1999 with the purpose of improving the way plastic injection molds are quoted, purchased, built, and maintained. We incorporated in August of 2002, but have the same goal: Deliver high quality molds for a low cost!
Many manufacturing companies will ask their molding vendors to quote on a mold and the piece price at the same time. This can result in not getting the quotes on time. JAWICO can offer tooling quotes in a couple of days and start the mold build as soon as the data files are completed. By the time the molder finalizes a piece price and delivers it to the customer, JAWICO is halfway done building the mold! This gives the manufacturer ample time to obtain the piece price quotes while the mold is being built.
Furthermore, JAWICO is operated by many years of experience in the plastic molding industry. We are able to use our buying power to get short lead times and lower costs and we can still include a dedicated program management.
JAWICO is completely independent from any tools shops. We obtain mold quotes from several selected mold makers, mostly in Asia to meet the demand of low cost / high quality tools.
While working with some U.S. based manufacturers, molders, and tool shops, we also saw the need for low priced, high quality mold components and machine tools. We now carry an extensive product line from one of the world's leading manufacturers - Gin Chan Machinery Co, Ltd.
